Press Reviews

This play has a flying start with the comedy of the title; what a difference just a few letters make. Derek Webb lives and writes in Wales – novels, plays, TV and radio commercials and adaptations – often geared to a children’s audience. This though is for adults and has the classic set-up of a group of women brought together by an evening class, Their experiences of men are varied but mostly negative.

We have to find out about each of the four women, add a background to each one, before building up to the punch line, like an extended joke. Part of the appeal should be in the range of the women in age and character. Mike Kaiser (GoDA)
