WRITERS REGISTER
The first thing that is going through your mind at this
moment is, “What about my copyright?”
Well, as Douglas Adams once said “DON’T PANIC”
The copyright is yours and remains yours. By registering your
works with us does not in anyway affect your statutory rights.
So, what’s in it for me
I hear you ask?
Good question.
Royalties!! That’s what. We can’t promise
fame and fortune but we can guarantee you will be paid if your work is
performed and as for the fame and fortune thing – You never know!
How much will I get?
You will get the performance fee less 25%
e.g: a full play for 5 nights will be £20 / night = £100
less 25% you get £75.00
Why 25% I hear you ask. Well, this is to cover the costs of
maintaining the web site and to pay for the marketing of the site. There are many
sites out there where you can register your work but, as far as we can tell,
they are not promoted with any vigour.
Our marketing programme consists of:
Ø Building
links with other appropriate web sites
Ø Hard copy
mail shots to Amateur Theatre groups throughout the UK.
Ø Hard copy
mail shots to Professional Theatres
Ø We will
also seek publicity via press releases to the TV and radio media
Ø A free
catalogue is available for prospective clients to order and sent to them via
the post
